Doogee Y300 budget Android 6 phone with LTE launched

doogee y300

Doogee have switched things up recently with their Flag F7 and P1 Projector, but they are still making budget phones too and their newest is the Doogee Y300.

Costing $129.99, the Doogee Y300 is priced similar to rival phones and like many similar models comes with a quad-core MT6735 chipset, 2GB RAM, 5-inch display etc, but a few nice touches have been added to help it stand out.

For starters the budget phone comes with 32GB internal memory as standard which is double what most similar priced phones come with. There is also Android 6.0 out of the box, a 2.5D curved display and USB OTG features.

Doogee have also opted for an 8 mega-pixel Sony IMX219 rear camera and 5 mega-pixel OV front camera.

The phone can also accept micro SD cards, dual SIMs and is compatible with FDD LTE bands 800/1800/2100/2600.

The Doogee Y300 is on sale now though resellers at $129.99, but you should also expect to see the phone in stores across Europe later in the year too.

Looks like they borrowed the torpedo design of the Nokia Lumia x30 series. Not complaining, since it’s a beautiful design!

lol you completely killed my hopes in Ulefone Power. 🙁 But it’s gaining a huge popularity and it seems that it works ok for most of the people , may be only a problem with the particular unit you have?

yes support talk about it, fast support but not solved. check support mail….

ulefone services …“ Hello, please contact the shop where you bought the phone to apply warranty. 8 hours is not acceptable for the big battery.
              Have a nice weekend! “

Most probably it is a software problem as in most cases when you experience fast battery drain and overheating. Flash the latest rom, get rid of the chinese crap and other crappy apps you use and also check the wakelocks.

Doogee are keeping it low with the same SoC they`ve been using for their last I don`t know – 20 designs? Honestly it`s not a bad deal considering the good looking build and 32GB of storage, it`s a shame that they keep just changing designs and doing the same phone over and over again with just different asthetics.

no fingerprint scanner, no party. Anyway looks promising but I would highly appriciate a well made bugfree budget phone around 130-140 bucks with fingerprint scanner and LTE 800 band.

Well I just bought a Redmi 3 for someone at $140 including shipping to the EU. For $10 more ( assuming the Y300 price includes shipping and all ) I got a 4000 mAh batter and an octa core Qualcomm and a quality metal build by Xiaomi so yeah … 😀

    • trapchan
      March 28, 2016

the dogee above seems to have better metal build compared to metal back cover on redmi 3.

What I meant is that when it comes to building phones I trust Xiaomi more than I do Doogee to get the quality right.
