It feels like it was ages ago when Oukitel first announced they were making a K6000 Pro, and finally its on pre-sale. Does it meet your expectations?
All those months ago when the Oukitel K6000 Pro was first announced it sounded like a pretty good phone. The device would tick all the boxes with a large 6000mAh battery, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, fingerprint scanner and toughened Dragontail Glass, but now its hear (or nearly) does the phone really keep up with the competition?
Oukitel today revealed that the K6000 Pro can be pre-ordered for $179.99, which is about right for an octacore MT6753 phone, large battery and 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, but that’s just a launch price and the final RRP will actually be $199.99.
Gizchina News of the week
In their own marketing material Oukitel compare the K6000 Pro against the Xiaomi Note 3 Prime at $209.99, and we are pretty confident we know where most people would prefer to spend their money.
Anyway for those of you wanting to pick up the K6000 Pro, below is a video showing a 30 minute video playback test consuming only %5 of battery.
The Oukitel K6000 Pro is up for presale now over on Aliexpress.
Personally I would like to buy oukitel rather than Xiaomi.
why is that?
Because I have both Xiaomi and Oukitel. And I think Oukitel is better than Xiaomi.
You’re not serious.
You sure about this ?
How about Oukitel build quality, the durability of the buttons, battery, etc ?
Reason is i don’t have so much money that i can spend every 6 month to change smartphone. Looks doesn’t matter much for me as i know i only got low budget so cannot expect a very pretty phone. But i need it to be durable.
My standard for a good smartphone at least can survive for 2 years on daily normal use.
HoT
I would buy the Ouiktel over the Xiaomi and then I would go have a catscan…
truth and with long duration, what will save your life
What? Sorry I didn’t registered the joke here. 😀
They try to make the “all in one phone?” because this one is boosted nicely. Great price for what you get!
id like to see how good its camera is, the redmi pro isnt the right comparison, the ulefone power is
Oukitel16MP should be software, it is not true pixel, they often do it.
does ulefone do this also?
Yes, and not only them. Almost all are doing it.
What are you talking about? Build quality better on Oukitel? Did you even use the Redmi Note 3 in real life?
lol mr, i know somebody would do this i bet when you read my comment this is your translation : redmi’s build quality is bad or xiaomi is worse than oukitel, thats not what im saying
many many times, oukitel go the extra mile e.g having glass(gorilla glass) that is treated with potassium salt so that the phones glass is a 9H in hardness harder than ceramic(8h) and just as tough as saphire this processs takes forever ive never seen another oem go this length
their latest 6000 pro has an ip64 rated, these are the things why i say their build quality is better they make sturdy phones, these are my objective points
Okay, I agree now. I’m too interested in K6000 Pro, but I was hoping for a lower price. 🙁
like? how much
May be $159. Sounds better. Or even $150.

id like to see how good its camera is, the redmi pro isnt the right comparison, the ulefone power is, id go as far as saying oukitel’s build quality is higher than xiaomi time and time again they go the extra mile, DAMN an SCUD battery too, on paper its 50% stronger in battery than the redmi

Yes, and not only them. Almost all are doing it, but they at least mention that in the description most of the time “13mp camera interpolated to 16mp”
Hi you all…
I really think they should keep it at the 179.99 price, PERIOD.
Any way, it would be just excellent if, BIG IF, they could manage to trade the mtk X10 for the X20 for the PREMIUM version (if it EVER becomes real) giving it 4gb-Ram and looking for a generic/cheap/old 20mpx camera and spend some nore into the Lens department … That would be a very very good device even if it doesn’t tops the antutu or gFx or geekbench marks… It would be great for a day to day real world experience.
They have a planned K6000 Premium which they should have spent their time on before this.
Hey is it just me or those guys at ZoPo are really into something with those ADs hahahaha. 🙂
Very much like ulefone Power, especially the front, ulefone power sales in gearbest is $ 169.99, more attractive number.http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_230567.html
$159.99 god!!!
So many of the Chinese companies are bringing out mediocre products that have already been catered for or simply have no market place position. If you don’t distinctly target a product don’t expect it to sell well or grow your business.
The price of the K6000 Pro is not bad, but it has low appeal as a technological item.
Would it have a place in regions where the populace are impoverished, maybe, but at $179 that maybe a stretch for affordability. Even people in BRIC nations are looking at P10’s and Helio X20 phones. In poorer nations it’s about deployment and price and that’s done by telecommunications companies supplying the products and the services.
If this phone had a P10 you could call it Oukitel’s mid range phone – not to be.
Comparing Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with this.
Very funny,. Funniest comparison of the week.
Totally agree. and the first field of comparison “octa core cpu”, comparing the Helio X10 with MTK 6753! Also Redmi note 3 price is well bellow 200$ (especially after the arrival of the snapdragon 650 version).
Lastly a presale price of 180$ for something not available if you do not want to wait or 200$ if you want it later!
Do agree though it’s a good phone for the money (especially if it sells a little cheaper (like 170$).
UMI can NEVER be trusted.
That’s actually a fair comparison, as the Redmi Prime offers a faster chip, but Oukitel offer great battery life, water resistance and a better camera.
Oukitel is one of the lesser known Chinese companies that actually offer good products and deserve more attention.
