No.1 G4 smartwatch will be released on April 25th for 39.99$

No.1 G4

Just a few days ago we have published our review of the No.1 G3 smartwatch and seems like the frentic pace of the Chinese maker is even accelerating. because on April 25th there will be already another generation released with No.1 G4.

Compared to the predecessor the No.1 G4 is going to bring some new features like Temperature measurement, fast charging or 3D Touch, but i’m slightly worried about some downgrades too, like usage of the older Bluetooth 3.0 connection. Rest of the specs are pretty similar, with Mediatek chipset (although different MT6261 one), full circular 1.2-inch screen with 240×240 pixel resolution, SIM card support, metal shell and 350 mAh battery.

Alongside the release there should be an activity event, which should lower the price tag of the watch to only 39.99$ making it significantly cheaper than the older model. Getting nice looking Samsung Gear S2 clone for such price could be indeed tempting.

I hope the No.1 G4 is an improvement of the No.1 G3. I was very disappointed with the No.1 G3 considering the many false advertisements, over price and lack of thorough reviews. I was considering the LY Pi until someone mentioned it doesn’t have SIM Card support, which would make it over priced. I’d like to wait until there are more thorough reviews to purchase the LY Pi or No.1 G4, but, problem is the original price of the LY Pi is $50 which is not worth it even if it does have SIM Card support, at the moment, there is a promotion for $44, but, I will not purchase it not knowing full details. The No.1 G3 is not bad, but, there’s just too many false advertisements and the price is too high for what you get. If the advertisements were not false, price would be okay.
