Infamous tipster @evleaks has leaked a screenshot from the OnePlus 3 detailing an Android N build, while also mentioning some of the basic hardware of the phone.
If you have been following the OnePlus 3 leaks and news then you will have seen that the company intend to launch the new flagship at a VR event (30,000 VR headsets are being offered to watch the event), and that the phone itself looks like a modified Oppo R9.
More details have emerged today from famed tipster @evleaks, who has posted a screen shot from the OnePlus 3 showing that it is already running a preview version of Android N. The screenshot also shows us the model number ‘Rain A3000’.
Gizchina News of the week
The screenshot was released on Twitter along with some ‘basic’ hardware information including a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 5.5-inch 1080p display, 64GB memory, 16 mega-pixel rear camera, 3000mAh battery and NFC.
NFC will be a great addition to the OnePlus 3 and a feature many thought the OP2 should have been supplied with. Over the past year more phones have had the contact-less communications hardware reintroduced in to phones thanks partly to the roll out of Android Pay.
The specs listed are believed to be of the entry-level OP3 and that a second variant might launch with more memory, RAM and perhaps a slightly faster processor.
i would rather get Zuk z2 for bigger aperture and larger pixel size + 128gb storage. Rather than OP3 with normal 16mp cam and 64gb max storage.
I still hope 6gb ram version has 128gb storage or a micro sd slot atleast.
You know the aperture and specific sensor of the OP3? I haven’t seen anything about that.
zuk z1 had 5.5 inches screen size while zuk z2 pro settles at just 5.2 inches.
Battery is still small.
3000 isn’t bad for a 1080p display.
As someone with such a battery, screen size and resolution, I agree, I usually squeeze over 4h screen time which is enough for a day of use.
Yea my Meizu MX5 has very good battery life with basically the same setup (3150mAh) and the X10 isn’t as efficient as the SD820 is.
my Le 1s has the exact same processor and even though it’s clocked at 2.2 Ghz I have no issues on the battery side for a day of use.
yes probably right. But when I compare with 720p redmi note 3g with my lenovo k3 note I do think 1080p devices need at least 3500 mAh batteries.
It really depends on a number of factors including how efficient the UI is, what type of display is used, how efficient the SoC is, what type of extra’s it has (camera sensors, audio chips etc). Raw numbers alone don’t mean much with smartphone batteries. There are 2500mAh phones that have comparable battery life to 3000mAh.
true. I had an intel powered zte v975 with 2300mAh battery but due to soc it takes a hit on battery life.
mAh is important and more is always better (for that phone) but when comparing phones you have to look at the whole package.
wrong 3000mah , its 3500mah.
3000mah ,no thanks. would like some power in the afternoon in 2 years
Will this Oneplus 3 feature Android N? I am curious about when will the phone be available. I just bought an affordable Android 6.0 smartphone, Bluboo Maya and will use (experience) this Android M OS first.
