With a name like the Maya, we would have hoped that Bluboo would have tried to pull some strings and be as advanced as the phones namesake, but this isn’t the case.
Bluboo are working on a new phone called the Maya, this is a piece of news only those of you living under rocks will have missed judging by the number of ‘leaks’ and statements the company has released.
While the name Maya conjures up ideas of advanced civilizations and cutting edge tech, Bluboo have decided that the name would suit their latest budget offering. Pricing hasn’t been revealed for the phone yet, but with a 5.5-inch display, 2GB RAM, 1.3Ghz chipset and just 16GB internal memory we don’t expect the cost is going to be much.
Gizchina News of the week
While budget specs have been the main focus of Bluboo in the promotion of the Maya, today the company have revealed that the phone will run Android 6.0 (yes, wow…) but will also use up to %20 less power than similar phones (however they haven’t mentioned how they are going to achieve this yet).
Other Maya details include a 13 mega-pixel main camera, a metal chassis and options for a white finish. Try to contain your excitement!
