Lesser known manufacturer Morefine have just released their newest addition to the family of mini-PC devices with Morefine M1s. So what’s inside and for what price ?
Morefine M1s is one of the “stick PC” devices, which are so popular lately, so just a small stick you insert into the HDMI port of your TV/display/projector and get fully working computer.
The tiny stick has quite a few components inside inlcuding quad-core processor Intel Atom X5-Z8300 clocked at max 1.84 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB/64 GB of eMMC4.5 storage expandable with microSD cards and running Windows 10 as the OS. For the ports you can find HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, microSD slot and microUSB. Connectivity is guaranteed by Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
Gizchina News of the week
Morefine M1s si currently on sale for about 90 dollars and it’s quite interesting that there is also available the M1+ version with slightly lower specs but full fledged Android 5.1/Windows 10 dualboot setup.
Personally i’m a fan of such devices and recently bought one of those for my house out of town and so far it just rocks. How about you ? Have you tried some mini-PC device already or planning to ? Let us know in the comments.
Stick format sucks, best to have mini PC format with ethernet.
Beelink S905 based MiniMX over here… Works great as a TV Box…
A colleague has a Beelink BT3 (Windows 10) and he loves it… Personally I hate this stick type mini PC, you’re bound to experience heat issues with it at some point and I don’t like they way they expect power from a vacant USB port on the TV….
Why not buy raspberry pi zero then? It’s just $10 with the extra cables, it’s the easiest thing to install (burn OpenEleC into an sdcard) and in 10 minutes (and $10 less) you have your 3W kodi PC that is actually far smaller than any of those sticks and far more reliable (no damn Windows running underneath, just Kodi)…
raspberry pi run utra slow, but ultra ultra
You obviously never owned one. It’s just fine for simple stuff like Kodi. If you install OpenElec the difference in speed is almost non existent.

There’s certainly a mitt full of non knowledgeable comments here. Out of all of my devices, (desktop, laptop, android box and raspberry pi3), I really enjoy my M1s. Will most likely purchase another for a family member.
