While it’s true that the MT6580 isn’t the most powerful mobile SoC around, the chip has done well to make decent smartphones available to everyone. A prime example of that would be the UMi Rome X, which features the same SoC and is quite a decent phone.
Another MT6580 phone, if you missed it, is the Homtom HT16. Like all other phones powered by this chip, it is fairly affordable. However, between July 26 and August 15th, you can get the phone for even lesser, keep reading for details.
