Recently some companies start to fall in my eyes.
First was Meizu with the thousand phones, then Xiaomi with same Meizu (also Lenovo) tactic to make a new phone every 3 weeks. Xiaomi even has fallen harder as its software is one of the bloatwarest and shitiest locked software ever.
And now UMI same shit tactic, lets make a phone every month and just change the name. Just wtf i bought my friend a UMI Super 3 weeks ago, its nice phone but now its what outdated? Having the revised version (MAX) for even lower price wtf.
Ssme with Xiaomi buy Mi4c ough wait 2 week later Mi4s comes out, way better phone.

Can’t stress enough, how shitty tactics that is.

Currently have a Leeco phone, hope they don’t shit things too.For now one of the few brands i like.

the mi4s wasnt a way better phone in my opinion…the mi4c was selling for 200€ in the 3/32 gb version when the mi4c launched at like 300€ including reseller stuff just to add a fingerprint

why do you always need to have the latest and greatest? and the mi4c was way before the mi4s

My fault i ment Mi4 to Mi4c, I was talking about the shift from shity snapdragon 615 to 808. The original price difference wasn’t high (retail price i mean).
They just saw that snapdragon 615 was shit procesor and just made a new phone why not.

I dont want the latest and greatest, i want when a company makes a product to stand by it, not update it like software once a month.

“almost exactly the same specs”, I believe there must be some difference between UMI MAX and UMI SUPER, which is the most important reason for the lower price.
I also have a UMI SUper, it is a great phone, recently i’m thinking buying another SUPER for my sister as her birthday present. Now i think i have a better choice.

I cant see a difference apart from 1gb ram less. Branding it as a separate phone is so wrong.
