Latest official word from Elephone concerning the new Elephone R9 model is talking about releasing it as a “Classic Sapphire”, which judging by the picture accompanying the press release means just a custom “sapphire” blue look and not any actual usage of the sapphire glass or anything.

As we already know the bezel-less Elephone R9 is coming with 5,5-inch FullHD display, deca-core Helio X20 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage, full metal body, rear 16 MPix camera, front selfie 8 Mpix camra, fingerprint scanner integrated into the Home button and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS.
We should be getting R9 finally released in September and looks like the ultra thin body coupled with the briliiant sapphire design could maybe even challenge the upcoming iPhone 7, or at least Elephone would surely like that.

Looks like they’re challenging Oppo, naming their rip off R9 and giving it the same home button and back design (antenna crossing camera instead of antenna under camera like iPhone).
Or just betting some ppl will think buying an Oppo product when putting an Elefraud R9 in their online cart by mistake.

So all the Elephone new models are going to release in September?? Yesterday I read that Elephone S7 will release in September and now in this post it is written as R9 will release in September. Can anyone clarify which model will actually release on September??
Looks like Elephone is switching gears and becoming a clone phone maker. This is nearly a carbon copy (only difference is the flash location) of the Oppo R9, it even uses the name.
I am normally someone who will defend phones looking a like but this is as close to a blatant rip off as you can find. This is on Goophones level.

You are not looking for info on elephone. You are actively praising it under multiple articles. I do get bots arent working anymore because ppl are not that dumb so once again fake comments/advertising has to be done by humans. Maybe next step should be employing more skilled humans, who would be able to conceal their intentions better.
For me is important the camera, I use it to work and I want it in the smartphone. If it has a professional camera, I’ll take it for sure!
