Huawei’s Honor 8 is breaking into markets at quite a rapid pace. After announcements for Europe and Malaysia, the phone is now available in the US.
If you’re in the US, you can get the dual-rear camera phone for $399. A $50 discount can be availed by early buyers by using coupon H8PREREG at checkout. The discount is a part of the Honor 8 ‘launch celebration’.
Gizchina News of the week
To remind you of its specifications, it comes with a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display, Huawei’s in-house Kirin 950 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 8 mega-pixel front camera (with LED flash), and of course, the dual 12 mega-pixel rear cameras.
As you can tell from the specs already, the Honor 8 is a really close cousin of the Leica-powered Huawei P9. The Honor 8 will be available in the US via the Honor Store.
My Blue Honor 8 arrives Wednesday!
This is more than I’m willing to spend on a phone, but I have to admit it looks great in blue. Hope you will enjoy yours.
A small question: Why are you opting for honor 8 but not oneplus 3 or anything based on snapdragon 820?
My decision is made up of multiple factors. A phone is a lot more than just a SoC. The SD820 is a great chip, but so is the Kirin 950.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, don’t buy this phone on hihonor. First they redirect you to another site(cybersource.com) to make a payment(because US site accepts only US cards) and then say your order is unpaid, but card is already charged. I’ve got no confirmation mail, no tracking code, i am cheated for 350 USD…So shitty site, it redirects you to Indiad hihonor, when you gonna see “my order” page
