New Elephone model, the Elephone C1 is expected to take the market by the storm by the end of the month so the company is trying their best to promote the new phone as much as possible. And as a part of such campaign we have some new pictures showing the design of the C1 and also confirming the existence of two different color versions of the phone.
Gizchina News of the week
The specifications of the C1 are going to be pretty basic, with 5,5-inch HD resolution display with GFF full lamination technology, quad-core MT6737 processor clocked at 1,3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, 13 Mpix rear camera, 2 Mpix front camera, 2850 battery capacity, fingerprint scanner and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS.
So until we know the exact release date and more importantly the pricing of the Elephone C1, all we can do is just check out the pictures and design of the upcoming phone. Have fun.
I find funny how this is the only entry level after announcing like 5 “flagships”…
Lol… This is going to “take the market by storm.” Really?? That’s bad even for elephone
You know those bezels are not real… :)))
One more flagship and no support after 2 weeks from releasing
“So until we know the exact release date and more importantly the pricing of the Elephone C1, all we can do is just check out the pictures and design of the upcoming phone. Have fun.”
Yet another piece of terrible journalism 😉
Guess the so-called writers here at gizchina don’t read their own comments section. If they did they would notice thats I’ve already stated that the C1 is priced at $119.99 on their official site and is available to buy NOW!
So Ying, we do know the price and have done for quite a few days..
COME ON GIZCHINA DO SOME SIMPLE RESEARCH, RATHER THAN POST THIS CRAP, MUST BE A VERY, VERY SLOW NEWS DAY…..AMATEURS 🙁
$60 dollar specs.
“take the market by storm” hah, no.
Elephone is way too obscure to do that, not to mention basically having the world record of worst quality control
By storm? What happened to gizchina anyway? I remember them being good. But I guess since elephone paid to advertise on their site, they post a lot of elephone topics which I’m sure the readers would rather skip..
A processor a little dated but very powerful and a HD resolution. A fine combination with a larger battery, that will ensure optimum performance and a quiet life until the evening!
You copied and paste the exact same comment you gave in another elephone C1 topic on gizchina yesterday. hmmm… odd. Internal marketing?
Nice spot goodwill!
Does look a lil suspect
What do you see strange? The article speaks of the same model and my answer is the same. I should think differently? It would be strange otherwise, don’t you think?
However if you know the way to get paid by elephone let me know, since in any case their products I like a lot, and I’m considering buying one …. maybe they give me one for me!
Good luck with buying it and better for you is to start finding way to get refunded for it, they won’t pay you no matter what you do for them.
I like this smartphone also if I don’t buy it, but I hope that Elephone change ideas, I want calmer colors like grey…
My curiosity regarding this new lamination technology G + F + F for the screen. I have examined the topic, and found that it is a technology that allows to reduce the size of the screens, and so consequently the size of the smartphone.
It would seem as innovative thing …
I’m reading this same things for last 3-4 days in different articles what happened guys?? Why there is so much repeat??
Wait wait!! It will release at the end of this month?? Huh? I think it already has been released. Here : http://www.elephone.hk/c1-55-mt6737-quad-core-16gb-rom-fingerprint-metal-back-cover-
I liked everything from OS to rear camera, battery RAM (at this price) I found in there site as it will be priced around $119.99
So specs are good but the front shooter should be atleast 5mp.
Hahahaa… Elephone is bringing us back to past with 2mp camera ??
Although everything looks great but the camera could be 8mp and 5mp instead of 13mp and 2mp.
I hope to see soon an unboxing. Before to buy, I want see really how is this smartphone…..
Classic features of a mid range smartphone. I think the strongest point of this smartphone is the camera and the battery life. We’ll see …
This is now becoming more of a basic entity lv usable phone specification not a midrange one, that is the main purpose of this SoC to replace old A7/Mali 400 ones that are ancient by the way.
for the price they are asking this is a very tempting offer! now all i want to see is some real reviews about the phone, because numbers aren’t everything..
I think they should have gone with some more traditional colors, in my opinion, not everyone will like the blue and the gold versions. Personally, i’d like something like a black or at least dark metallic grey color so it would look a bit more traditional, but then again that might look a bit too masculine for female users. This is a simple concept i did to make it easier to imagine
i’m not a huge tech fan, but my boyfriend said this should be enough for me and i also love this design, will probably get it in gold! should i wait for reviews or can i just order it once it’s available for ordering? (or is it already available? i got confused with all these articles)
Joure brother is right considering base specifications & usage needs but avoid Elephane like a plague. I advise you to buy an older proven product from the Chinese companies that also are known for taking care about their products like for instance Meizu M2 that is pretty cheap now, proven & cetera. This way you may end up stuck on older Android but at least you will know what are you buying & that it will last long enough for you.
I used M2 just as an example.
I mean this model has its ups and downs, like the camera (like what the hell? 2mpix, really? what is this? 2005?) and then there’s quite a nice battery. I kinda like this phone, would recommend it for people in search of cheap decent phones!
i think there are way too many models coming out from this company, it’s difficult to choose the right one… im gonna just wait for videos about these phones so i could choose the best of all the new phones!
