Hi Andi hows the screen outside? angle and soon? Gorilla plus or normal? With 2 Versions are u referring to Black and White?
I try to order one end of the week via taobao i guess

    • August 26, 2012

It a bit soon to say, but the screen has been good today. I assume it’s Gorilla glass, but as this is going to be a prize for some lucky reader I don’t fancy taking a knife to it to check it out! The 2 versions are a 512mb RAM model and a 1GB RAM model. The one I’m testing is 1GB 🙂 Hold on to ordering one as you have the chance to WIN one next week 🙂

also, what about os. do they put some nice extra software in like on the Note to take advantage of the screen? Can i install vanilla JB or ICS?

    • August 26, 2012

It’s ICS 4.0.4 from the box, but JB is on the way. No Note style software that I can see. It’s an awesome phone though!

Andi: Do you know if Zopomobileshop.com is officially run and opened by Zopo, or is it a third party? As with China sites you never know. It would be good to know that it’s an official Zopo site so we know that it’s more reliable. (hopefully!)

    I love this site.

I know this sounds odd but can you test the vibrator. I sometimes work in a noisy environment and I need to rely on the vibrator to receive a call.

Can you confirm it is dual standby?

Will you be doing a test on the ZP300+ as well?

    Thanks again Andy.

What a great news! That cell phone looks sexy, despite its bigger screen it don’t looks voluminous, perhaps the new g. note be similar and if not perhaps don’t going to look so warm.

PD: Publicly I do a petition to chinese models agency to follow the example of Zopo. It could be so cool see the unboxing of a beautiful chinese in the blog and after it some commenter can have the chance to meet her (6) 😀

I bought my ZP900 yesterday in HK for $1800 HKD ($232 USD) with 2 batteries, 2 screen protectors and 1 flip case. It works great and running Jellybean out of the box ver 4.1.1. The screen is decent and better most china phones but does not look like real IPS. The build quality is great and feels like an expensive phone. WIth Jellybean, the phone seems to be super smooth and is definitely a lot faster than my HTC one xl running 4.0.3. Camera quality is so so and the flash is on the weak side.

Hello, can u tell me hoe easy or complicated is to flash the phone or to root it? CAN be compared with the well knows sam note 2???? The speed and response of the display are the same? The duration of the battery with the phone in operation is…? I mean a endurance test for battery. The gps is fixing satellites rapidly? Is this compatible with all the gps software suppliers? like tomtom, igo, sygic etc…

I just got mine. It just arrived from DealExtreme. Rooting is VERY easy. The “official” method requires reflashing and the official tutorial is not that clear (damn Chinglish), but there´s a rooting procedure available, search for “root with restore by bin4ry” (tip from the xda-developers forum), I rooted the ZP900 Leader in less than 5 minutes with it, which made a lot easier to migrate the data from my previous phone (a Sinostar ZC300-A) using Titanium Backup Pro.
