Oppo may never release the Find 9, but they do have quite a lot of other devices, such as the freshly announced Oppo A57. The A57 is yet another mid-range device from the Chinese company, and it’s not very different from the rest of the Oppo pack.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, which has a 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor and an Adreno 505 GPU. Along with that, there’s 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also accepts microSD cards of up to 128GB.

The A57 comes in a choice of a gold or rose gold all-metal casing, with a 5.2-inch 720p touchscreen under 2.5d curved glass. The rear shooter is a 16MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.12nm pixels, phase detection autofocus, and a LED flash. The front shooter is an equally impressive 13MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture.
Aside from that, the A57 also comes with a 2820mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 on top. Its dimensions are 149.1 x 72.9 x 7.65 mm, and it weighs in at 147g. The device also supports dual sim cards.
For those who are interested, the A57 is priced at RMB 1,599 (around $231) and will be available for sale starting December 12 in China with both color options available. As per usual, we’re not sure when or if it’ll ever come out of China.
