We might have only just got through Christmas, and we may still have a few days until the New Year begins, but Chinese phone makers already have 2017 planned out in front of them, and we’re already hearing whispers of flagship phone launches!
If you like to hear a good rumour then you will be excited to hear that Xiaomi could have the all new Xiaomi Mi6 launched and available to buy on 14th February! Yup, that’s correct! Come Valentines day next year we might already have met the latest Xiaomi flagship.
Gizchina News of the week
At this stage details are still a firm secret but it doesn’t take a genius to guess the phone will come with a Snapdragon 835 chipset and will more than likely borrow features from the Xiaomi Mi Mix, Mi Note 2 and Mi5S Plus.
The Mi6 may also come with a few siblings namely the Mi6S, Mi6E and Mi6P.
If Xiaomi and their MIUI aren’t to your tastes you might prefer news that Meizu’s newest flagship phone is scheduled to launch in China around May 2017. The Meizu MX7 is set to be one of the first 10nm Mediatek Helio X30 smartphones on the market and might also feature a dual camera design and curved display.
Also expected early next year is the OnePlus 4, and the Oppo Find 9!
@Andi, did you mean Snapdragon 835?
I think so!
Totally bezel less from 4 sides??
In renders? Yes. That is how renders are for the last 7 years or so.
In the actual world? Not for another decade. The tech is not here (easy to break, palm rejection not good enough, expensive to manufacture ).
