Firmware update brings VoLTE to the Nubia Z9

The Nubia Z9 is the newest entrant to the VoLTE family, one that’s growing at a rapid pace.

The Z9 is over a year old, and is powered by the not-so-popular (among users) Snapdragon 625 SoC. The update is being sent to users of the Z9 via a manual flash method — something you don’t quite get to see often these days in the age of OTAs.

That said, we do expect Nubia to announce an OTA later. However, if you don’t wish to wait for the OTA, you can also head over to the downloads section on the manufacturer’s website to download the file and flash manually. Here’s where you need to head to.
