Today we have a real first look at the latest phone on Elephone’s production line, we’re talking about the Elephone Z1.

The Elephone Z1 features what they call a lumia-wave back cover, which is created through IML (In Molding Label technology) that allows the plastic to almost look like glass while being scratch resistant.

This material should also help avoiding cracks on the back cover when dropping the phone, as it happens on phones like Honor 8, Samsung S7 and the likes.
Other than that, the phone comes 5.5-inch display with 1.6mm super-slim and it’ll be powered by an Helio P20 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and USB type-C connectivity.
The cameras on the Elephone Z1 will be 13MP on the back while the front shooter will have a resolution of 8.0MP. The phone also packs a 3100mAh capacity battery.
