Asus unveiled today Zenfone Live (ZB501KL), a mid-range smartphone aimed towards the selfie fans and generally teenagers, equipped with a BeautyLive app that allows the user to live stream using the main 13MP camera or the 5MP selfie camera, while applying several beatufication filters in real time.
The Zenfone Live runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the ZenUI 3.0 interface, along with a non-removable 2650 mAh battery. It is powered by a Snapdragon SoC (not disclosed yet) along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and a microSD slot.
Gizchina News of the week
It packs a 5 inch HD display but surely its most significant feature is its Beautification application, that allows us to edit a lot of facial features – skin color, size of eyes, even remove skin blemishes. The selfies sure will look flawless for all the likes on Instagram, Facebook, Weibo and Twitter.
Unfortunately we don’t have any information on its pricing and availability, but soon we will know more and let you know.
