Elephone P25 wants to revolutionize mobile photography

Elephone P25 Camera

We’re slowly getting a full picture of the upcoming Elephone P25, mostly in the camera department as that’s the phone’s main selling point. Specifically, we’re talking about the 21MP rear camera and the 16MP front-facing one.

As previously mentioned, the Samsung sensor-equipped shooter on the back will have a resolution of 21MP, an aperture of F/2.2 and PDAF autofocus which should allow for super fast focusing, as fast as 0.1 seconds. Having this high megapixel count sure makes the phone look more appealing, albeit we’re yet to see how it actually performs.

Regarding Elephone P25’s front-facing camera, we know it’ll be 16MP — overkill? — and accompanied by a Soft LED flash to brighten up the selfie shots. Once again, tons of pixels and in this case we have even less details about the camera, hopefully it’ll be a good one.

Gizchina News of the week

Elephone P25

As far as the rest of the hardware, we have the obvious MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, an insane 6GB of RAM to keep all your apps loaded and 64GB of internal storage. The 5.5-inch Full HD screen on the P25 uses JDI in-cell technology, which should produce more accurate colors compared to cheaper panels.

Coming with a 3600mAh and sporting the power efficient Helio P25 processor, the battery life on the Elephone P25 shouldn’t be too bad, possibly getting 2 days out of it with moderate use.

You can find more info about the Elephone P25 over at Elephone’s official website.
