Mystery LeEco smartphone hits Geekbench, comes with Helio X20 SoC

LeEco is trying hard to return to profitability during the past few weeks, and the only way to do this is to launch new smartphones. One of them was spotted on Geekbench today under the code name LeEco Xiubaler, doing its benchmark tests with a Helio X20 SoC, 3GB of RAM and Android 7.1.2 inside!

That being said, it looks like a prototype model that runs on a beta Android 7.1.2 version, aimed mainly for test purposes. After all the specific version of Android (7.1.2) is – for now- available to select devices like Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Nexus Player only.
