Xiaomi is looking after all of us who want more from their notebooks, and their latest Mi Notebook Air 12.5 is no stranger to this type of special care.
That’s why – according to an official announcement by Mi Notebook Weibo account – it gets a processor upgrade, now packing a 7th generation Intel Core M3 CPU which brings a 12% improvement in performance over the previous generation. There’s also a storage bump, and now the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook is available in 128/256GB variants, both of which retain their ability for further expansion.
Gizchina News of the week
You won’t find any other differences between the “new” and old variants of the Mi Notebook Air 12.5 model: it retains the same ultra-slim build with just 12.9mm thickness, all-metal body and weighs just 1.07kg. It comes with 4GB of RAM, can work without charging for up to 11.5 hours, but if you need it, it offers fast charge support.
The new Xiaomi M Notebook Air 12.5 variant is already available for registrations today on Mi.com for a price around (or above) 3,499 Yuan (~$507).
hmm well this is a total fail, the only thing they actually needed to upgrade from the last gen was the ram and they didn’t.
Oh ufck off xiaomi. Again no RAM upgrade? Theyd better remove one M2 PCi E and add DDR slot

Agreed about the less RAM and no touchscreen that’s not much of an upgrade !!
