Update: We’ve come across actual photos of the phone too!
A final render image of the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus has been revealed showing the full design of the phone, here are the details and specs.
This render is believed to have been leaked from TENAA and the 3C Certification process in China and clearly shows a dual camera smartphone, the design of which resembles what the media believes will be the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus.
The render gives us a great look at the new flagship from both the front and the rear and basically confirms what earlier leaks had already shown us.
The front is very similar to the Mi5 with a narrow border design, and an oval ‘home button’ which will likely use an ultrasonic fingerprint identification feature.

Again the rear is similar, but with one main difference! Dual cameras! Differing from leaked photos though is the position of the dual LED flash which is inboard on the render.
But renders aren’t all we have learned today! We have the specs of the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus too!
Xiaomi Mi6 Plus Specifications
According to sources the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus will feature a 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 FHD display, 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, and options for either 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage.
Those rear cameras are dual Sony IMX362 12 megapixel units, while the front 8 megapixel camera is an Ultrapixel model. What is interesting is the battery size, 4050mah for the Mi6 Plus!
If that large size isn’t for you then the Xiaomi Mi6 will features a 5.15-inch display, options for 4-6GB RAM, 32,64,128GB internal memory, sonly IMX400 19 megapixel main camera and 3200mAh battery.
Which flagship Xiaomi is the one for you?
Not really FULL specs without dimensions and weight, factors that I always consider when looking at possibly buying new phones.

Looking at the plus model of course. Hopefully, I can afford the 6GB/128GB model.
it’s garbage
Typical uninspired design. After they released the Mi mix the market has slightly changed, its all about the screen to body ratio now. Just look at the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. That’s the way forward.
Actually companies have been competing on screen to body ratio for years now.

having used the mi5s+, having the fingerprint sensor at the back seems the most ideal location

I will probably get the normal Mi6, depending on how well the camera does.
