After unveiling its latest high-end smartphone, Honor 8 Pro in Europe, the Chinese company had another surprise for its fans in that region, by also launching the mid-range Honor 6C model, which is in fact the Enjoy 6C model that was launched back in December in China.
Gizchina News of the week
It’s seems like a decent mid-range smartphone, that comes with a 2.5D curved glass on the front and sports a unibody metal design, along with a small 5-inch display with just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. The Honor 6C is equipped with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, it offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage along with microSD support for cards up to 128GB.
It features a 13MPixel main camera on its back and a 5MP front camera for selfies, but unfortunately it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, not Nougat. Inside you’ll find the notorious EMUI 4.1 user interface by Huawei, with the promise that soon Android 7.0 will come as an update.
The device will start retailing in Europe from the end of this month for €229, available in 3 colors: Gold, Silver, and Gray.
