Xiaomi Mijia Smart Shoes available tomorrow, priced at 249 Yuan

If you are in the market for a new – smart- pair of shoes, then this might be of interest to you! Xiaomi plans to release its Mijia Smart Shoes tomorrow during the company’s Mi Fan Festival, priced at 249 Yuan.

This high tech pair of shoes comes with an Intel Curie chip inside that can store all the vital fitness data while you exercise, run, or even walk. The size of this chip is minimal (practically the size of a button) so it has no weight to impose on you. This new “smart” sportswear was developed by the Chinese based company Shanghai Runmi Technology Co. Ltd and is aimed primarily at professional runners/athletes. The sole of the shoes has an arch design especially created to provide balance along with anti-skid features. It also offers full air cushion for each foot and an antibacterial replaceable insole.

Gizchina News of the week

This new pair of smart sportswear comes in various color options: Black and Surf Blue for men and Black and Pink for women, but there’s also a special “blue edition” that glows in the dark, created especially for those you prefer to workout/run during nights.

    Very Adidas/Yeezy-ish.
    Which is a good thing.

I’m Bigfoot though, they probably don’t have ’em in my size.
