Maze have finally released the Maze Blade for Pre-order, and for a short time, only you can buy this handset for only $129.99.
If you have been anywhere but under a rock in the middle of a forest for the past few months then you WILL have heard about the all new Maze Blade. News of the Maze Blade first arrived when leaked images of the phone showed a device which promised a similar design to the Xiaomi Mi Mix and in just a short time the brand has managed to get the phone to the market at an affordable price.
Maze has crafted the Blade from anodised aluminium which measuring in at only 158.5 x 77 x 8mm. Those dimensions combined with 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 441ppi display make for a handset with very narrow bezels.
The impressive hardware continues with a Sony IMX214 13-megapixel main camera on the rear with F2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. Front camera specs are equally good as the phone boast another Sony sensor, IMX179, 8 megapixel unit with F2.0 aperture. Those details suggest competitive low-light performance.

Cut into the meat of the Maze Blade and you’ll find a 1.3Ghz Mediatek MT6753 chipset, ARM Mali T720 MP3 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, and space for either dual SIM cards or a single SIM and 1 x micro SD card.
It this all wasn’t impressive enough then take into account the fact the Maze Blade has a secure fingerprint scanner, OTG, and HotKnot file transfer protocol.
Despite the modern design, Maze hasn’t been tempted to make questionable design choices, so we find the phone with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, LED RGB notification light, and 3000mAh battery. Android 6.0 ships on the phone as standard but Android 7.0 is sure to arrive soon enough.
We’re pretty impressed with the hardware, but we’re even more impressed considering the RRP for the phone is just $139.99 and that early bird fans of the handset can pre-order the Maze Blade now for only $129.99.

The mix is a bezel less display, this got thick borders all around. 158.5mm in height for a 5.5 screen seems pretty outdated.

Maze Blade 5.5 inch screen but 158.5mm height, Mi Mix 6.4 inch screen but 158.8mm height. iPhone 7 Plus 5.5 inch anf 158.2mm height. I think I know what it should be compared to.
The decline of Gizchina is almost complete with Andy himself writing bs advertorials.

A phone with a 5.5 inch display that is 77 mm wide does not sound bezel-free. The narrowest phones of last year with normal bezels were around 75 mm. I thought the Lenovo Zuk Z1 was on the wide side, also a 5.5 inch phone that was 77 mm wide. Even the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and 4, which are hardly bezel-free are only 76 mm wide. The 5.5 inch Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is only 72.6 mm wide – now that’s the width that a bezel-free 5.5 inch phone should be achieving.

Yes yes very similar to the mi mix, except the looks and the specs, and probably the features too, but hey both are phones, so that’s close enough !
