New 2-in-1 tablet Chuwi SurBook goes into crowdfunding

Chuwi SurBook

Chuwi are on fire and during the Global Sources fair in HongKong we have already seen an amazing new Lapbook 12.3, but they have one more ace in the sleeve. New Chuwi SurBook is apparently trying to hint at Microsoft Surface with its name, probably cos of the identical screen, but it looks like one hell of a 2-in-1 tablet.

Chuwi SurBook will offer the beautiful 12.3-inch screen with 3:2 aspect ratio and 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution, Intel Celeron N3450 from the Apollo Lake platform, 6 GB DDR3 RAM, 128 GB eMMC inner storage, 10000 mAh 37 Wh battery with 12V/2A fast charging, dualband AC Wi-Fi, two full sized USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C port, full metal build with kickstand and Windows 10 system. It also supports stylus with 1024 pressure levels (probably HiPen3) and has an optional ultra slim detachable backlit keyboard.

Have you tried any of their tablets/laptops? I never tried, but I wish to try!

I have a Chuwi Hi8 tablet. Windows 10 + Android Kitkat, it’s very nice but the audio jack port doesn’t work properly when switched to android, no audio issues when switched over to windows. I rate it 9.5/10

Can people please stop making these kickstand things? I would quite like a cheap netbook with usb c charging, but there aren’t any with sensible specs.
