Nokia 3310 sales begin next week in Europe at a slightly higher price

We all know at this time the revamped Nokia 3310 model that was unveiled during Mobile World Congress 2017, alongside with Nokia 3 and Nokia 5.

The blast-from-the-past feature phone is now ready for a massive European launch during this coming week, and could be used by most fans as a second (or maybe third) device. But what about its price? According to recent information the Nokia 3310 is expected to be priced a but higher than originally announced by HMD Global a couple of months ago.

Gizchina News of the week

In Austria for example, the device will go for 59€ starting April 28, but some other retailers could axe the price and offer it for 53€ instead. In Sweden however there’s a surprise, since one domestic retailer plans to release a 3G compatible variant of the phone (!) priced at no less than 93€. In Germany the device is expected to sell for 58€ but the device won’t hit stores until after the 28th of April.

What do you think? Would you pay 50-60€ for a phone like this?

50-60€ is bit much for this phone. It should be 30-40€.

Nokia can call it what ever it want. It is not the 3310.

yep, for sure it isn’t. I am disappointed. Not much by their attempt to revive an icon to get our €uros, but by the fact that they produced a crap and believed customers are stupid enough to pay this overpriced old fashion phone in the name of our nostalgia. Plus, the 2G networks won’t last long I believe. I don’t see the point.

no, I wouldn’t. Who would actually? there is better and cheaper than that, only playing on the sensitive string, nostalgia. I am tired of nostalgia shit. If it was so much better before, why did we created new devices? We did created new devices because the ancient ones weren’t good enough. Why to bring that back? I like feature phones, I could be a client if they were to come with a solid phone. One you can drop and pick up without damage, one with a real battery life, which I could use when doing mountain bike or travelling in SEA. But that… for 60€, you can add few €s and get decent 红米
