There is redmi 4X global edition with B20

Xiaomi has phones with different versions. It’s all about license fees. Enabling B20 just cost extra money. (In the end that makes it increases the cost for consumer around $10. Got it? No sense to make everybody pay $10 extra for the few who want B20)

Shops miss-use the term global edition. Sometimes it’s really a phone with the B20 band. Sometimes its just the China mainland version without B20 with a multilingual ROM.

Then there is the Redmi 4x and the XiaomiNote 4x

Search the country sites at mi.com for the different versions with B20

Caution! This phone is said to come with snapdragon 435 which is neither the official CPU for the redmi 4x ( MTK) nor for the redmi 4 global (SD 625)

I bought this phone from the following shop on aliexpress for 150 dollars 5 days back. They have written the specs as SD 625 with 3GB/32 GB.

But the redmi 4x has no LTE band 20 which the “global” version does. I may the wrong about Mtk chip in 4x, but it certainly is not the snapdragon 435 that this deal touts (and which your stated specs confirm).

I think there is a confusion. Mine is Redmi note 4x. I think the article is about redmi 4x. I don’t know whether they are the same or different phones.

Oh, you may be right! But the 4x should be much cheaper anyway. $150 is the price of the note 4x, so this is not a “deal” at all.

Chris stop the bullshit and confusing folks with wrong information.

Either you bought a fake MTK phone sold as Xiaomi or
you need your fact straight. You’re mixing up phone models and processors. The Redmi 4x (snapdragon 435) and Redmi Note 4x (Snapdragon 625) are real.

Here are the spec of a 4x with B20:

      (uh…really…but thats Xiaomi’s own site…….)

Just be very carefull when you buy you get a Hardware version with B20 hardware enabled.
Average storeprice in Q1 2017 is around $140

Does th 4X have the unibody like the Original MTK note 4? Or is the same as the Redmi Note 4 Global which has the same inferiour body as the RMN3?
