ZTE Z851 spotted, gets WiFi certified

A few days back, an unknown ZTE device, rumored to be the Axon 8 popped up on TENAA. The ZTE Z851 is the latest smartphone to pop up online.

The Z851 was spotted after it got WiFi certifies by the WiFi Alliance. From what the image says, the ZTE Z851 will be running Android Nougat  7.1.1 out of the box. But there is no indication as to what other hardware it will sport.

Gizchina News of the week

Since it has been WiFi certified, the launch is not very far. There is hardly anything we know about this device except the fact that it might be the successor to the ZTE Grand X2 which had a similar model number(Z850). But there already is a listing of the X3 on Cricket.

Right now, all we can do is speculate about this mysterious device that has popped up. ZTE has given no word on the same. There has been no news about their flagship, the Axon 8 either. Stay tuned for more!
