The Doogee Mix is a brand new Mi Mix clone that also happens to feature in the list of our top 5 Mi Mix clones list. The device is, however, a lot more affordable than the Mi variant.
To make it even more affordable, we’re presenting a coupon that’ll give you $40 off on the purchase. This means you’ll be able to take home the Doogee Mix for a mere $189!
The device comes with the MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Doogee clearly didn’t want to make a mere impostor, but something that buyers might actually consider purchasing instead of the real deal (or is it a long shot?).

Anyway, keep reading to know how you can avail the $40 discount.

Wasn’t the retail price supposed to be $199 as announced at the recent Comdex?
They’ve merely jacked up the price by $30 and are claiming to provide a $40 discount, while only providing $10!
At best, it’s overpriced for a Helio P25 chipset, not even a full HD screen and no WiFi ac.
…. Well it’s doogee what did you expect?
Less Doogee more Banggood
They are not even doing that, see my comment above, the old bait and switch strikes again.
nice phone and cheap

Doogee has posted fake photo samples, meaning the camera might not make it. Plus I also just realized that it is not FHD but only HD. So it’s out for me. Wasted my time waiting for it. Let’s see what Maze Alpha can do.
They recently lined up eight 5″ phones with both HD and FHD (720&1080). At a distance of 40Cm(16″) only 3% of participants could pick the difference. We are all falling for the same marketing BS they are using on TVs, unless you are sitting a foot away from the screen you cannot pick the difference between UHD/2K/4K or FHD.
40cm is a ridiculous distance to test the viewing resolutions of 5″ phones. Who would hold a phone 40 cm away from the eyes? I have various phones mostly 5.5″ with a mixture of HD and FHD. I can easily tell the difference when viewing the gallery and playing games. It is most significant when the phones are viewed from the sides. However, I think a 2K or 4K screen on a phone is a overkill unless we are taking about video shooting. That really makes a huge difference.

This Doogee phone is supposed to be bezel-free yet, for a 5.5 inch phone, it is some 76 mm wide – that’s as wide as most bezel-full phones of this size. The minimal bezel Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also comes with a 5.5 inch display but it is only 72 point something wide. What gives? Why is the Doogee so wide if it is a Mix clone?
93% Screen to body is a good number for this phone (posted ratio). Even the new Maze Alpha can only make it to 87% and the parent of all this recent Bezel rage the Xiaomi Mi Mix only makes it to 91.3%. Go here and have a look:

Doesn’t make any difference. The only advantage of bezel-free is to make the horizontal dimension small enough to be easier to hold – hence why the new Samsung flagships are long and narrow. Being too wide destroys any advantage of bezel-free in my opinion.
You have a point there. But I do enjoy watching them all get their nuts in a tangle over which is the best bezel-less phone. Give it a month and it will be over some other useless marketing ploy. 🙂

1280*720, and no 850/1900 WCDMA?

Let see the Maze Alpha.
Even not FHD, what’s good in this phone anyway.
Just tried to claim the $40 coupon. Not accepted at Bangood due to Promo/VIP classification. So the coupon and this article are effectively worthless 🙁

Got my Doogee Mix, Returned my Doogee Mix. An attractive phone but if you live further than 4Kms from a cell tower you are out of range, no bars, no reception incoming or outgoing.
