Vivo become an official sponsor of the Fifa World Cup 2018 and 2022

Smartphone companies sponsoring football (soccer for you Americans) teams isn’t exactly new news. Oppo made headlines last year for becoming sponsors for Barcelona FC, and the same goes for Samsung. Vivo however is taking it to the next level.

Unlike the previous two companies, Vivo will be sponsoring the Fifa World Cup itself for the years 2018 and 2022. This will not only boost their sales exponentially but also give them huge amounts of brand recognition.
