Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with embedded fingerprint scanner leaked

Samsung has been going strong after releasing its 2017 flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Both the devices have taken the market by storm. As per tradition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is in tow. There’s been rumors about the Galaxy Note 8 for quite a while now. The latest leak shows a render of the Galaxy Note 8.

Gizchina News of the week

The render shows the Galaxy Note 8 in all its glory. And as for the rumors of a dual camera setup, this image confirms the same. On the rear lies a vertically aligned dual camera setup with the flash and laser auto focus below it. There is no visible fingerprint scanner on the back. The front follows the same infinity display design as the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Since there is no visible fingerprint scanner on both the front and the back, there is a possibility that the fingerprint sensor is embedded in the display.

Also visible on the back is the AKG branding, meaning the speakers on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be taken care of by AKG. On the bottom lies the S-Pen slot with the speaker and yes, the 3.5mm jack and what seems to be a USB Type-C port. The top has a slot for sim card which might even have a slot for an SD card.

With the epic failure of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung cannot afford to go wrong with the next Note. Will it suffer the same fate? Only time will tell! Watch this space for more.
