New Samsung Galaxy S3 clones claim 13MP camera, 1080 display, 3500mAh battery at a low cost!

It seems like a day can’t go by without someone making a Samsung Galaxy S3 clone, but today instead of just one clone we have news of 2 both of which boast great specs and features.

Before getting in to the nitty-gritty and going over the lovely details of these phones, I have to congratulate the company producing these Samsung Galaxy S3 clones for coming up with the most original names I have ever heard of from a Chinese electronics company.

Rather than giving these phones boring letter number names, these phones have been called ‘Sundance Kid’ which may not ‘shout super powered low-cost phone’ but is certainly better than the other name these phones go by which is EAR!

Anyway on with the phones and there are two of them. A dual core 999 Yuan model and a quad-core 1499 Yuan.

Gizchina News of the week

The dual-core Samsung Galaxy S3 clone boasts a MT6577 dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a huge 3000mAh battery!. The quad-core version boasts a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel rear camer and an even bigger 3500mAh battery!

If those details weren’t impressive enough then take a look at the rest of the specification which claims these S3 clones with get a 4.5 inch display with a massive resolution of 1920 x 1280, 9.8mm thick body and are capable of 1080 playback, something I personally thought isn’t possible with the dual-core MT6577 CPU.

The specifications of both of these phones along with their claimed features and super low prices have me a little wary, as they look suspiciously similar to the amazing specification of the Beidou Little Pepper phones which turned out to be duds.

I would love to believe that these new phones are real, but looking at what is being claimed and what we have seen from lesser known Chinese phone brands in the past these super powerful, low-cost Galaxy S3 clones are looking more like vaporware than real phones.

What do you guy’s think?

Huh, that looks more like a joke to me. If not, it is a winner on a paper for sure. I don’t even recall a non-fake phone with such display and camera.

These sounds like a pipe dream to me… but it does indeed sound nice. Maybe with the new Mediatek SOCs it will be possible too.

Have you got more photos please? the quad-core version look nice, but I see it very “fat” and I prefer “tall” like the G3. I would like see if that brand have other models. Thanks!
