Moto XT1795 certified by the FCC. Is this the Moto G5S?

There have been rumors and leaks surrounding Moto’s next offering in the G series. The Moto G5S and G5S Plus have made it to the rumor mill in the form of images and other reports. The most recent report comes from the FCC which has certified a new Moto device by the name of Moto XT1795. We are speculating that this might be the Moto G5S.

Earlier, a mystery Moto smartphone with the name XT1797 popped up on FCC’s website which sported similar specs to the Moto XT1795. From the specs point of view, the document mentions the presence of MSM8937-4, codename for Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. The battery on the phone stands at 3,000mAh. The Moto XT1795 and XT1797 might be the variants of the same device. They might differ in the carriers or specs a little depending on the region in which they are going to be released.
