Onda have a great reputation at producing low cost Android tablet here in China with higher than average specification and their new 7 inch Onda V712 is no exception! Keep reading for more details!
The Onda V712 features a 7 inch screen with high definition resolution of 1280 x 800 which promises to boast an ultra wide viewing angle and offer a similar viewing experience as the market leading Google Nexus 7 tablet from Asus!.
Gizchina News of the week
To keep the high-resolution screen of the Onda V712 looking great Onda have added a scratch protection thanks to the addition of Gorilla glass.
Under the high-quality display we have a dual-core 1.5 GHZ MT6577 CPU as well as 16GB of on-board memory plus an SD card reader, a rear 2 mega-pixel rear camera and front web camera.
Prices are estimated to be less than $100 which prices the Onda V712 way below the cost of a Google Nexus 7 with a similar screen specification!
I only hope Onda will either release a quad-core version or even better a model with built in 3G and they could be on to a true Nexus 7 killer of a tablet!

The V712 has no MT6577 CPU but a Mali 400.
If it was MT6577 it would have 3G onboard.
^^Correct, Also Onda is famous for charging comparatively higher price and lower capacity batteries.
Their sale is dipping because of the sh!tty batteries they put inside their otherwise nice tablets.
Like this one it is selling on aliexpress for around $149 comes with 1280×800 IPS screen and DualCore Amlogic 8726 MX processor Mali400x2 GPU. Now the funny part, it comes with 3000mAh battery, seriously Onda you deserved to be doomed.
