What comes with a 9mm thick body hardware that isn’t to be sniffed at and a battery life of 20 days? The answer? The Elephone Fighter.
It’s that time of the year again, the time when Elephone’s marketing team kicks things up a notch and reaches out to the media with details of the next big thing, only this time around we think they might be on to something.
The new must have Elephone will be named the Elephone Fighter and follows the current trend of speccing a large battery for improved battery life, only this time around Elephone has gone and kept hardware levels and flagship standard, and on paper, the Elephant Fighter is one very promising phone.
The headline feature of the Elephone Fighter is the phone’s huge 5000mAh battery and claimed 20 day standby time, which equates to 23 hours of usage, impressive figures from a phone that measures only 9mm thick and weighs just 160g!
Gizchina News of the week
But unlike other brands that just wade into the market with a large battery and not much else, Elephone has been smart enough to build the rest of the hardware up to a level that even flagship phone customers will want to take a look at.
We don’t have the full details but what Elephone has revealed about the Elephone Fighter is a phone with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, the option of running a 128GB SD card, 5.5inch FHD display, 13 megapixel main camera, 16 megapixel front and Android 7.0 OS.
All of those components are built into a 9mm thick metal body with an “outstanding” appearance.
At this stage, we’ve no idea if Elephone will use a Mediatek chipset or a Qualcomm never mind the pricing of the handset, but judging by previous launches we don’t expect an astronomical launch price.

Should I answer to the title by saying “my ding-dong”?
That would be crazy of you, as 9mm is way to thin for a “ding-dong”.
But you may answer accurately by saying “Elephone’s chairman’s ding-dong”.
Had to be Elephone of course.
Heh, 20 days? Why not better say a month, yup just like that, for Elephone. xD
You mean the support?
I mean you’ll never get these 20 days in the real life. 🙂
Yes battery will last 20 days if you turn off your phone completely & not use it at all. Boasting versus Reality *snigger*.
Dude it’s 20 days standby time, not 20 days screen on time. There is a difference!
After optimisation of battery in P8 mini, if that small battery can give an entire day of battery backup, then I can hope that this may run around 3-4 days with a single charge. But 20 days are too much.
Seems like Elephone is investing all of its money on research and development team and they are bringing in latest surprises every month.
pretty sure Elephone invests all of its money in marketing and photoshop
Why would I want to sniff a phone?
Yet another device in line?? Will it be a series or a single of its type? Because Elephone already has a number of active series out there in market. -_-
Wow finally the greatest company in the world created this crazy phone.
I am sure they are honest about it and it is an actual phone and not photo etc.. like iPhone and Galaxy and Xiaomi and those losers..
I <3 Elephone
<3 means I hate Elephone right? Good that what I was going for :3
:3 means an evil face right? Good that what I was going for 🙂

They wrote elephant fighter instead of Elephone Fighter on the 3rd paragraph ??
And they wrote it twice! I mean Andi did.
I guess he just seen the King Arthur movie
If they use MediaTek chip, even 6000mAh battery will be too small.
Wow…….. It’s like I am going to try out this phone. Great battery and the cameras are acceptable.
