All you need to know about the UMIDIGI Crystal – Hands-On Video

UMIDIGI Crystal

The UMIDIGI Crystal might not be the best “bezel-less” smartphone out in the market but it definitely does standout from the crowd for it’s affordable price and sleek design. If you’re considering getting this device, then keep reading to learn some of its main features.

UMIDIGI Crystal

Let’s begin with the most important one, which is the display, of course. The UMIDIGI Crystal comes with a 5.5-inch Sharp Full HD display coated in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The same high quality glass extends to the back of the phone, giving it a really premium look and — we assume — good feeling in the hand.

UMIDIGI claims the Crystal will also be a good performer as far as gaming goes, with its MediaTek octa-core A53 CPU clocked at 1.5Ghz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory in the more expensive version. If you’re all about the look and want to save on money you can get the 2GB RAM version with 16GB of internal storage powered by a quad-core MediaTek CPU. Both smartphones feature a decently sized 3000mAh battery.

Another selling point for the UMIDIGI Crystal is its dual camera setup at the back, the handset does indeed feature 13MP and 5MP shooters on the back. These cameras combined should be able to snap better photos in low light conditions, as well as create images with bokeh effect.

The Crystal will be running the latest Android 7 Nougat out of the box, so you can take advantage of all the new OS features. Lastly, the fingerprint scanner on the device has been placed at the back of the phone, UMIDIGI claims 0.1s fast unlocking on that one.
