As you’ll have seen from the product page, the DAB211 is no regular dash cam. With 1440p recording, it also features a built-in GPS module, and features like HDR to make your footage great to look at.

The OV4689 image sensor is pretty good at night, so it should be a good product as it has that sensor. I hope to win it because: 1) I am not lucky at lottery & 2) I had some minor car crashes too and it woud’ve been good to have it…

a deer jumped straight under our car. but we were reacted quickly and hitted the brakes. a deer went away without damages.

I currently do not own a dash cam and that is why I am entering to win it. I am hoping to catch unsafe drivers when I travel to my family cottage, and the good thing as well, is that it records your own speed,( that is my current understanding) so it is wise to stay under the maximum speed limit so that you, yourself do not find yourself in trouble.
Never had one, but I´ve seen nasty things from other´s footages.

1440p HDR is amazing, never seen it in a dashcam. Does it also have a option to display your driving speed and other info in the screen? (since it has GPS I presume it’s possible).

I’ve not recorded much on the dashcam, just the general bad behaviour that seems omnipresent (sticking close on the next, calling and driving, cutting off because fast exit, dangerous overtaking etc etc.).
As a professional driver I see it daily.
If I had one we could’ve captured the group of youth who grafitied the local shopping center who were wandering down the road like a group of zombie on Friday night.
