Upgraded AllCall Rio S is ready to take on the market

While the new AllCall Rio S is already available in the presale offerings of the major resellers since end of August it’s only today that the makers officially announced all the details about this budget wonder. Successor to the fairly popular ultra budget AllCall Rio is promising to deliver even more price/performance ratio than before.

 

AllCall Rio S is trying to follow in the footsteps of the predecessor, but with an improved twist more or less with everything. Larger 3D curved screed, upgraded 2.0 triple proetctive glass using japanese Asahi glass,  MT6737 processor, 2GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, rear dual 8MP+2MP Sony cameras, 2MP selfie cam, 3200 mAh battery, 5,5-inch Sharp HD resolution display with anti fingerprint coating process and Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS.

With all the improvements new AllCall Rio S is keeping its price very competitive as promised and will be available for just $89.99. Deliveries should start already today September 19th. You can find more about the model of course on the official website.

AllCall officials also confirmed that the brand will attend the Asia Expo for Mobile Electronics fair in HongKong running from October 18th to October 21st. So you can stop by to check out the new Rio S or their other phone models in person.

    Having bought the Rio I would never touch a phone from this company again. Embedded adverts that cannot be removed (the app reinstalls itself every time you try). I wouldn’t trust it to put any sensitive apps on it. It’s currently in my drawer waiting for a hard wipe so I can safely bin it.

        If you’re looking at the sub $100 market you have two options… Go for a proven device or go for a discounted pre-order from a company you trust. I bought the Rio because Gizchina lauded its potential and regretted it because it failed to live up to it. That was my mistake for not sticking to the options mentioned above. Was meant as a basic phone for my father. Ended up giving him my Umi Super instead so he had something that worked and didnt insert ads EVERYWHERE
