As some of you may know, Vernee’s first real and only flagship phone ever launched was named Apollo. At almost a year from its launch we’re all wondering where’s the successful of that device – the Vernee Apollo 2? Well, according to the latest rumors we might not see it at all, but instead have the beautiful Vernee MIX 2 take its place and come with the flagship Mediatek Helio X30 CPU.
The Vernee MIX 2 will be the company’s first all-screen phone, even with the number two in the moniker. Vernee makes clear that the “2” refers to a code name and not second generation – we believe it’s just a marketing choice. They have some points to prove their statement though, such as the amount of “dual” this, “dual” that we can read on the MIX 2’s campaign page. Either way, it’s just a name, does it really matter?
Gizchina News of the week
Recapping what we know so far; the Vernee MIX 2 will be featuring a large 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and an 18:9 display aspect ratio. It’ll sport a dual glass design with a glass coating on the front and back of the phone. In the back it’s where we also find the trendy dual camera setup.
Lastly, news of today, the Vernee MIX 2 might come with the high-end Mediatek Helio X30, which will make it Vernee’s flagship phone and the first all-screen device powered by that SoC.
Vernee’s MIX 2 launch campaign is already running on their website. If you get chosen as reviewer you can get the handset for as low as $99.99 and receive it before anybody else. Head over to the official website to learn more.
Hell yeah, finally a Helio X30 phone for a decent price ( not from Meizu )… Got sick and tired of the “bezeless” cheapo phones.
You do understand that a P25 is a 10$ SoC while the X20 was a 25$ SoC?
Well, even it’s a limited price, HelioP25 is good enough for $99. Many manufacturer would pair MT6737 or MT6750 in this price tag.
According to gearbest it comes with the same crappy Helio P25 as the rest of these. I say crappy because it can’t even match the Helio X20 that was released more than one year ago.

I would be really surprise if it comes with the X30… Nothing more than buzz

Helio X30 would certainly make it more interesting than the myriad other Mix clones out there, but i’ll only believe it when i see it.
