Nokia 8 arrives in Finland with more RAM and storage

HMD Global has brought in a new and upgraded variant of their flagship Nokia 8 to Finland. This time the device comes packing more RAM, more internal storage and limited colour options. It’s currently only available in Finland, though we imagine it’ll arrive in other countries soon enough.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, the smartphone runs on stock Android and now carries 6GB RAM/ 128GB UFS2.1 internal storage instead of the normal 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage configuration. Internal storage is still expandable to up to 256GB, which is great.

Aside from that, the Nokia 8 also comes equipped with a 5.3-inch Ouad HD (2560 x 1440) IPS display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There are also the dual 13MP rear cameras, one monochrome and the other in full colour. Really, not much has changed.

The boosted Nokia 8 version is offered only in Polished Blue and costs €649.99 over the usual €579. Delivery is in one week, meaning first owners of the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM will get their device as early as next Thursday, October 19.
