Chinese Chuwi are the frequent guest at the HongKong Consumer Electronics Fair and it’s a tradition for them to attend the event since 2004. This year they brought as usual the full stock of their latest models, but they also unveiled a fresh new one there, the compact Chuwi SurBook Mini.
Of course the main attention is deservedly stolen by their latest laptop model, the fancy LapBook Air, which is currently already available in the Aliexpress campaign. It’s a very stylish full-metal device with 14.1-inch fully laminated FHD screen, Celeron N3450 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB eMMC memory + M.2 SSD expansion slot, backlit keyboard, 33.7Wh long lasting battery and Windows 10 / Ubuntu OS system choice.
Gizchina News of the week
Their recent Indiegogo campaign, which raised quite some finances for the SurBook model has been quite a success and for those needing a more compact solution they freshly unveiled the smaller SurBook Mini. It will be equipped with a 10.8-inch 1920×1280 pixel screen, Celeron N3450, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, dualband ac Wi-Fi, Windows 10 / Ubuntu system choice and surely the similar detachable keyboard as the bigger counterpart.
There is also a new Android tablet in the pipeline and should be released soon, the Hi9 looks quite interesting with 8,4-inch 2560×1600 IPS display, MT8173 processor, GX6250 GPU, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM and Android 7.0 OS.
You can see of course much more from the Chuwi products at the Fair including the full selection of Windows based laptops (LapBook Air/LapBook12.3/LapBook 14.1/LapBook 15.6), dual-boot tablets (Hi12/ Hi10 series/ Hi8 series) convertible Android tablet Hi13 or the handy multi port desktop charget the Hi-Dock. If you are around don’t forget to stop by to check it all out.
