Oppo A79 Official press renders and Unboxing Photos leak ahead of launch


A week ago, we’ve got a couple of press renders coming from the upcoming Oppo A79. The handset that is scheduled to launch in  few weeks ahead, just got a plenty of pictures leaked once again.

The new leak includes a couple of press renders from the handset and some pictures from a early unboxing, where we can see the handset with the screen turned on showing some more details.

These pictures gives a good taste of what to expect from the upcoming Oppo’s smartphone. The handset brings a look that resembles some other Oppo handsets, and funnily the OnePlus 5. Apart from the single rear camera, in counterpart of OP5 dual setup, this usually happens since both Oppo and OnePlus are owned by the same BBK Electronics group.

The Oppo A79 should arrive packing a 6.01-inch display with a resolution of 2160x1080p, putting this phone on the 18:9 aspect ratio class of phones. Under the hood, the power is ensured by MediaTek’s processor MT6763T, aka Helio P23. Alongside the chipset we’ll have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Camera wise  the Oppo A79 will sport a single 16MP camera on the rear, and another 16MP front camera, for selfie lovers pleasure. The battery however, isn’t a strong point of this smartphone, expected to carry a 2,900mAh juice package.

The leaked shots also reveal some live real pictures of the handset, the box will come in simple white with the A79 engraved in silver color.

The lighten display show the indiscrete black borders around the panel, we also can notice that phone will be shipped with the Nougat based ColorOS 3.2.

Currently, the phone is expected to arrive before the end of November, more precisely on November 30. However, this isn’t confirmed by Oppo until the moment. Price tag for the Oppo A79 should be 2,399 Yuan.
