Galaxy A8+ (2018) appears in a new set of pictures

Samsung rebooted it midrange segment after numerous critics of the large and confuse portfolio of devices other than Note or S series. With that premise, the giant manufacturer brought up the A series to the light in 2016.

Apparently the company is preparing a new change for the A line, with different naming and a spec sheet more closer to the mid-flagship-range. As a new leak suggests.

We had a Galaxy A7 in 2017, another A7 in 2017, but apparently we won’t have one in 2018. According to some sources and a new round of leaked pictures from Weibo, the A7 will debut next year and will be renamed to Galaxy A8+ (2018).

Gizchina News of the week

Apparently Samsung aims to get some familiarization between its flagship and midrange lines. Both Galaxy S8 and Note 8 brings a 18:9 aspect ratio. The A (2018) line will mark the debut of Samsung Inifinite Display in a mid range, so next we’ll have an Galaxy S8, Note 8 and A8+ with Infinite Display technology.

Although we don’t have the rear of the phone pictured in any sort of leak, based in other leaks of A(x) (2018) series we expect the A8+ to bring the same finish found in S8, but this time with a vertically aligned Fingerprint Sensor.

The handset might be revealed late on this month, or during the first days of 2018.
