Meizu M6S having camera debugging issue, launch postponed to early 2018

There have been reports that Meizu will be holding a press event on December 20, where the company is expected to unveil the rumored Meizu M6S, which would probably be its first phone with almost no bezels.

In a sharp twist of pans, latest reports suggest that Meizu will not be launching the rumored Meizu M6S at the Dec event anymore. Reports suggest that the company will be unveiling the device in January 2018 or early 2018, as the company is reportedly facing debugging issue with the camera of Meizu M6S, and as such has affected its earlier plans.

Earlier on, the Meizu M6S leaked in a couple of live photos, revealing its front and side. The leaked images revealed that the device might come with FullView display and one selfie camera and most interestingly a side mounted fingerprint sensor.

Aside from the design, there isn’t much information about the upcoming Meizu M6S, but it would no doubt come with the latest in terms of hardware, for it to compete with rival devices from Xiaomi and others.

Elsewhere, recent reports suggest that Meizu will be launching six new smartphones by the first quarter of 2018 in a strategic move to on boost its sales in 2018. The Company is also reported to have made plans to ditching MediaTek’s processors in favor of  Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon and Samsung‘s Exynos processor.
