AllCall seem to be packing their upcoming Mix2 with all the software feature they can think of, to go along with the pretty good internal hardware. Today’s news is that the smartphone will also be featuring an AR function; let’s learn more about it!
Since VR (Virtual Reality) didn’t really take off, the next big innovation in the entertainment world is said to be AR (Augmented Reality). Some phone makers such as Apple have equipped their devices with this tech, for example the iPhone X can use Face ID to create animojis, which could be considered some kind of Augmented Reality.
AR is nothing new, we had Google Glass and Microsoft working on it as well as the mobile game Pokémon Go that made Augmented Reality relevant again. This year, we’re back at a peak thanks to the release of the iPhone X which will probably increase AR apps development.
Gizchina News of the week
As a continuously developing smartphone manufacturer, AllCall is going to bring more to us in AR field. As we all know, achieving the AR effect takes a toll on the processor and camera sensor, iPhone X’s strong performance largely depends on its A11 processor and the excellent cameras.
To achieve a good AR effect, AllCall must then have some well performing hardware under the hood. The AllCall Mix2 should indeed pack a Mediatek Helio P23 processor, it’s hard to tell it if that will be enough to achieve AR, we also can’t say for certain it’ll pack the previously mentioned CPU yet.
You’ll find more info about the AllCall Mix2 – when available – on the official website as well.
