The Meizu M6S aka mBlu S6 is pegged to be unveiled on the 17th of this month. Just two days before that, the promotional poster has leaked that confirms the presence of the Exynos processor and side mounted fingerprint scanner.
The mBlu S6 has been popping up on benchmarking sites and in other reports, but Meizu has been quiet about the smartphone. The promotional poster shows the phone in all its glory. As speculated, it will sport a full-screen display. There will be no mBack button, instead, a side mounted fingerprint scanner. On the back will be a single sensor camera with an LED flash. No capacitive navigation keys means that the smartphone will sport on-screen nav-buttons, a practice that has now come into trend after the advent of the full-screen displays in the market
Gizchina News of the week
The listing on AnTuTu hinted towards the presence of the Samsung Exynos 7872 processor which has now been confirmed by the poster. In other reports, the mBlus S6/M6S is expected to pack 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of ROM. It is expected to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery, support for 18W fast charging. There is another rumor hinting towards an on-screen fingerprint scanner on the M6S, which quite honestly would be a waste since it already sports a side mounted fingerprint scanner. We’ll find out if this actually is the case on the 17th!
