Gizchina News of the week
LG Mobile had a good holiday season especially with the performance of the V30 and other premium smartphones. But this was not enough to bail its Mobile unit out of its current woes. According to LG, the current losses are as a result of an improved business structure. Recall that the company appointed a new mobile chief a few months ago. Let’s put it this way, their TV’S and appliance’s save the day. Their mobile division suffers. The g5 a failure, the g6 an older processer the 821 instead of the 835. If the g7 has the 845 processer it stands a chance without it another failure. The V30, a good phone but only 10% of the market share. They are a very capable OEM but their products needs to innovate something new. In doing so they may be able to compete with the s9 & others!
