Alleged Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Appears On Live Video

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is the next in line to the Mix series of smartphones. It has popped up on a hands-on video reported by the folks at OnPhones. Although not much, the video does reveal a few features of the alleged Mix 2S. With the Mix brand being one of the most popular lines of phones out there, our expectations with the Mix 2S are nothing but high.

The video showcases the bottom of the Mix 2S which is inspired hugely by the iPhone X’s design. Furthermore, the phone features gestures mimicking that of the iPhone X. It’s not a surprise since Xiaomi has notoriously copied the iPhone’s aesthetics in their UI for years now.

Gizchina News of the week

There is no footage of any other portion of the phone. But since the bottom part has no bezels, the front camera has to sit on the top bezel of the phone. An earlier report from XDA Developers revealed that the Mix 2S does exist. Other reports speculate that the 2S will be the first dual camera handset in the Mix lineup. It is reported that the Mix 2S will have a four-sided curved ceramic unibody with a full-screen display, Snapdragon 845v clocked at 2.8GHz coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS storage.

Will Project Treble mean plenty of Oreo custom roms ?

Not really if the OEM released kernel source & used device tree infrastructure aren’t compatible with Project Treble neither the ROM will be (disregarding is it a costume one or OEM’s firmware). But it’s not all that bad as Project Treble won’t really begin to live for at least one more year regarding vendor’s readying & sending updates.

Xiaomi is notoriously slow with releasing their kernel information. Think MIUI isn’t too bad but I do prefer a more stock looking android. I love the gestures. I’ll be rocking my Lawnchair UI day one. I’m pretty hyped for this phone especially if the camera is improved. If the camera is ANYTHING close to the Mi Note 2 then its going to be hard to choose between this and the Huawei P20.

And again a bullshit post for generating clicks. Thanks for wasting my time.
Its just the Mi Mix 2 upside down. Just look at the volume rocker at the bottom left side. :/
