Huawei MediaPad M5 Tablets Arrives With Kirin 960 & Android Oreo

MediaPad M5

The popularity of tablets in the manufacturing industry has strongly dwindled and only a few manufacturers like Apple is actively involved tablets production. However, the poor reception of tablets in the market has not deterred Huawei from releasing its new set of tablets. The MediaPad M5 10 Pro, M5 (10.8), and M5 (8.4) are similar in a number of ways.

Similarities

These tablets are High-end Android tablets which sport Huawei’s homegrown Emotion UI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. These tabs are powered by Huawei Kirin 960 octa-core processor with a Mali-G71MP8 GPU. In terms of build, these tablets have an all-metal body design with a 2.5D curved glass WQXGA (2560 x 1600) display which the company claims is the “world first”. This screen uses Huawei’s ClariVu 5.0 display technology which makes the videos better.  In the camera department, they all come with a 13MP autofocus-enabled rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. Well, this camera spec is great for these tablets given that tablets usually come with shitty cameras. For connectivity and interfaces, USB Type-C connector, built-in microphone, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Hi-Res audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter are available in these gadgets. These tablets are also equipped with Physical home buttons and fingerprint readers. Although the battery spec varies slightly, they all support Huawei QuickCharge. All three tabs are available in Space Gray and Champagne Gold.
