We know AnTuTu launched the version 7.0.1 in late December 2017. It added 2 new 3D features called ‘Refinery’ and ‘Coastline’. They have been developed to test the GPU performance when playing games and the maximum performance. These new features require support for OpenGL ES 3.1 + Android Extension Pack features. So we should state the testing quality has reached the PC level. Thanks to it, AnTuTu now provides more reliable data. The first phone to be tested on it was the OPPO R11s. but now we can look at the top 10 of smartphones (China).
Note: There are only average scores of the smartphones on this chart. The data collection time is January 1 -31, 2018.
The first thing we can notice in the top 10 of smartphones list is the significantly improved average scores. Plus, the positions of many devices have changed. Say, if the OnePlus 5 was on the top of the list, now it lands on the 4th position.

Moreover, 3 Huawei handsets including the Mate 10 Pro, its sibling, the Mate 10, and the Honor V10 packed with the same Kirin 970 chip occupy the first three positions. Surprisingly it has outrun the Snapdragon 835, which has been considered as the fastest chip in 2017. The report was provided by AnTuTu as well.
Specifically, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which leads the top 10 of smartphones scores 214580 points averagely. It’s followed by the Mate 10 and Honor V10 that show 212K.
The next seven models are packed with the Snapdragon 835 chip. Those models include the OnePlus 5/5T, Nubia Z17, Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi MIX 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and Samsung Galaxy S8+.
The first phones with the Snapdragon 845 chip are not available for purchase yet. They will ship in a few months. So Kirin 970 and Huawei models will continue leading the top 10 of smartphones list for a few more months.
